Born in Catania, Rossella Pezzino de Geronimo embodies two souls, one devoted to business and the other to art.
A talented Visual Artist and photographer, over time Rossella has put together a stunning portfolio of photographs documenting her exotic travels around the world. These life experiences have given life to images that, rather than providing a mere eyewitness account of life in these countries, offer a purified outlook carefully filtered by the artist's lens.
Photographs shot in Japan, Ethiopia, India and Burma capture the intense expressions and bodies of indigenous populations, captured in their everyday activities but charged with a lyrical vein. This artistic photo reportage of Rossella's travels has been collected in a series of themed publications, alongside a number of volumes that explore the various aspects of her artistic personality.
Her curiosity and openness to experimentation have led her to approach the field of holography, an optical technology capable of storing visual information. Since her first experiments in 2012, Rossella has continued to develop the technique, achieving truly admirable results.
Rossella Pezzino de Geronimo has held several solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
Since 2011, she has taken part in several Venice Biennale exhibitions.
Many of her works are held in private collections and in the Fondo Sgarbi.
