ARABA FENICE (THE PHOENIX)

Phoenix Arab is the title of this hologram that floats inside a square inscribed in several concentric circles.

There is a symbolic distinction between the square and the circle: The square expresses the terrestrial, the circle the celestial.

The circle is to the square what heaven is to earth and eternity to time. The square in my conception is none other than the perfection of the sphere on the earthly plane and the synthesis of the four elements.

In other words, humanity is connected to the divinity as time is to eternity, the visible to the invisible and the terrestrial to the celestial.

Araba fenice is my personal symbolic account of the concept of eternity or the transition from darkness to light since everything begins with fire, a spark of light and its moving fragments.

Three is a symbol of creativity, as well as being a perfect number, and three are in fact the gold-colored oroburos that arise from fire: the oroburo, the snake that bites its own tail, is a symbol of death and rebirth.

The oroburo intertwine, break up, become two and then only one which in turn liquefies after thinning to finally turn into a trickle
of water.

Here the water now becomes the absolute protagonist and draws a cube without faces, a house without walls, a nest built to temporarily house only the Arabian Phoenix.

Shortly afterwards, the mythological bird catches fire but from its ashes an egg is born, a large egg, a mosaic that reflects the world. The egg, symbol of life, origin of the world and of the earth is shaken by a strong wind, symbol of the breath of life.

The breath shatters and explodes the egg into many small particles of light from which the Arabian Phoenix rises in all its splendor and which, just like the sun, which is always the same and rises again only after the “previous” sun has gone down, there is only one Phoenix: eternal and immortal.
